Umehluko phakathi kwe-ADSS ne-OPGW
I-ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) kanye ne-OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) ziyizinhlobo ezimbili zezintambo ze-fiber optic ezisetshenziswa emigqeni yokudlulisa ephezulu, ngayinye inezici zayo kanye nezinzuzo zayo:
I-ADSS (I-All-Dielectric Self-Supporting):
Amakhebula e-ADSS zenzelwe ukufakwa emigqeni yokudlulisa engenhla ekhona ngaphandle kwesidingo sezakhiwo ezengeziwe zokusekela (njengezintambo zokuthumela noma amalungu okuqina ensimbi).
Zenziwe ngokuphelele ngezinto ezisebenzisa ugesi, ngokuvamile i-fiberglass noma i-aramid yarns, ezihlinzeka kokubili ngokushisa kukagesi kanye namandla omshini.
Izintambo ze-ADSS zilula, kulula ukuzifaka, futhi ziyamelana nokuphazamiseka kukagesi, okwenza zifaneleke ukufakwa isikhathi eside kanye nezindawo ezivame ukuphazamiseka kakhulu ngogesi.
Zivame ukusetshenziswa ezindaweni ezinezinga eliphakathi kuya kweliphezulu lomthwalo weqhwa, njengoba zinezici eziphansi zokuwa futhi zingamelana nezimo zemvelo ezinzima.

I-OPGW (Intambo Yomhlaba Ebonakalayo):
Izintambo ze-OPGW zakhiwe ngemicu ye-optical efakwe ngaphakathi kwengqalasizinda yocingo oluvamile lomhlabathi olusetshenziswa emigqeni yokudlulisela engenhla.
Ilungu lamandla ensimbi le-OPGW linikeza kokubili ukuhanjiswa kukagesi kanye nokusekelwa kwemishini kwekhebula, kuyilapho imicu ye-optical engaphakathi kwe-core idlulisela amasignali edatha.
Izintambo ze-OPGW zinikeza inhlanganisela yamakhono okufaka isisekelo sikagesi kanye nokudlulisa idatha, okwenza zifaneleke ezinhlelweni zokusebenza lapho zombili lezi zinhlelo zidingeka khona, njengamanethiwekhi okuxhumana kagesi.
