The Difference Between GYTS and GYTA Fiber Cable

As for the difference between GYTS and GYTA optical cable, theoretically GYTS optical cable is an overhead or directly buried optical cable, GYTA optical cable is an overhead or a cable through the pipeline, the following is a detailed understanding of it.

The Difference Between GYTS and GYTA Fiber Cable:

1. GYTS is the inner steel armor, GYTA is the inner aluminum armor, the structure of the two are the same, aluminum strip side pressure resistance index is not higher than steel strip, but aluminum strip rust resistance and moisture insulation performance is better than steel strip, in some pipe environment with GYTA this type, the cable life is longer.

2. GYTS optical cable is mainly divided into GYTS multi-mode optical cable, GYTS single-mode optical cable two types. Also known as stranding cable. It is a communication cable with transmission speed like light. GYTS optical cable has wide band width, fast transmission speed, good confidentiality, electromagnetic interference resistance, good insulation, long life, and good chemical stability.

3. The structure of the GYTA fiber cable is to insert 250μm fiber into a loose sleeve made of a high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. At the center of the cable core is a metal reinforcement core, and for some cables with a number of cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be squeezed on the outside of the metal reinforcement core. The loose sleeve (and filling rope) is twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and circular cable core, and the gap in the cable core is filled with water-blocking filler. The cable is formed by extruded polyethylene sheathing after the plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) is longitudinally wrapped.
