    Underground Directly Buried Central Outdoor Loose Tube cable GYXTW53

     

    The fibers are placed in a losse tube made of PBT.  The tube is filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of PSP longitudinally.  Between the PSP and the loose tube water -blocking material is applied to keep the cable compact and waterlight.  Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the steel tape,over which a thin PE inner sheath is applied.  After the PSP is longitudinally applied over the inner sheath,the outdoor armored fiber optic cable is completed with a PE outer sheath

    Stranded loose tube non-metallic strength member and non-armored cable (GYFTY) construction is that 250um fibers are positioned in a loose tube which is made of high modulus plastic and filled with a water-resistant filling compound; A fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fiber count, locates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member; Tubes are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core; After the cable core is filled with the filling compound which protects it from water ingress, the cable is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath.

    The loose tube stranding technology make the fibers have good secondary excess length and allow the fibers free movement in the tube, which keeps the fiber stress-free while the cable is subjected to longitudinal stress.

    Corrugated steel tape armored and double PE sheath providing excellent crush resistance and rodent resistance.

    Metal strength member provides excellent strain performance.
